Honeywell - Wi-Fi thermostat never works

Tried several times to contact support, give up after 30-45 mins on hold. Bought two new carrier hvac systems with honeywell wifi thermostats. They have never worked fully they never stay connected to the new router. Cant monitor them while on vacation the reason i bought them. Just a bamboozle from honeywell. NEVER will buy anything honeywell again.

Have a Honeywell chart recorder which requires a replacement chart motor (chart recorder does not work with a faulty motor) Part retails for $200 (cost is probably about $20..but that is another issue) So not a huge item, relatively small and easy to replace....
