Wife passed away and took the password

My wife passed away and took the password with her. I called support and was told the wait would be half an hour. I pressed 3 for them to call me back. I got a call from China and it pissed me off I am pretty sure I pressed 1 for Englis. I just need to change it from her email to mine and have them reset the password. If you outsource technical issues ,you are a broke company. I will be changing my thermostat.tpisses me off

Thermostat stopped working

Bought thermostat in March 2020 - turned it off in the spring. When tried to restart it in the fall it didn't work. My son is a HVAC technician - he verified it was broken - I could not get through to customer service by phone. I had to get my son to replace the thermostat because I needed heat urgently. I took a day off work and was determined to get through by phone - after 2 1/2 hours finally got through only to be told that they could not help me because I should have called when I tried to restart it - I explained it had been impossible to get through by phone but all they said was "we're sorry but our phones are very busy". I asked to speak with a manager but was told a manager could not help me. I called another time and was told a manager would contact me but no one ever did.

Problem with installation

I will not purchase another product from honey well. I know that honey well has many subsidiaries around the world. I will work to not purchase those products again. I do not understand how you can sell a product and 2 years later not support. Not to mention I could not receive any assistance when I bought it. It never worked properly to begin with.

Problem with app

the app says my email is not in the correct format. the email is the same i have used for years and works great. i cant connect to my thermostat as i cant connect with the app. i purchased a new phone now no connection to my thermostat.

Thermostat issue

Honey well would not answer a simple question about connections on a wireless thermostat module because I pushed the wrong button on the voice recorded menu. She knew the answer but told me she could not tell me. Not impressed.

Worst customer service

We purchased and installed Honeywell RTH9585WF thermostat in our home. Within 35 days, thermostats stared showing sensor error. I tried to reach Honeywell Customer Service since the last 5 days, I was on call for 2 hours, but nobody answered my call. I also tried to reach technical support via chat, but no response even after waiting for 3 hours. This is one of the worst customer service. I am not going to buy any Honeywell product in the future and will recommend the same to other people.
